MeetCute Final Cover.jpg

The New York Times bestselling author of Pucked and The Good Luck Charm delivers a Hollywood happily-ever-after where a famous heartthrob falls for his ultimate fangirl in this sexy standalone romantic comedy.
Talk about an embarrassing introduction. On her first day of law school, Kailyn ran - quite literally - into the actor she crushed on as a teenager, ending with him sprawled on top of her. Mortified to discover the Daxton Hughes was also a student in her class, her embarrassment over their meet-cute quickly turned into a friendship she never expected. Of course, she never saw his betrayal coming either...
Now, eight years later, Dax is in her office asking for legal advice. Despite her anger, Kailyn can't help feeling sorry for the devastated man who just became sole guardian to his thirteen-year-old sister. But when her boss gets wind of Kailyn's new celebrity client, there's even more at stake than Dax's custody issues: if she gets Dax to work at their firm, she'll be promoted to partner.
The more time Kailyn spends with Dax and his sister, the more she starts to feel like a family, and the more she realizes the chemistry they had all those years ago is as fresh as ever. But will they be able to forgive the mistakes of the past, or will one betrayal lead to another?

Moonlight Seduction (de Vincent #2) By: Jennifer L. Armentrout

I need to send a huge thank you to not only Avon Romance for getting a review copy of this amazing book to me. But to also Jen and her amazing team. Y'all work so hard to make sure us bloggers are taken care of and I can't tell you enough how appreciated it is.

And I hope you all either start this fantastic series today, or go pick up your copy of MOONLIGHT SEDUCTION to get more of the yummy de Vincent boys 😉😉😉

The de Vincent brothers are back—and so is the intrigue that surrounds them—in New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s sizzling new novel...

Nicolette Bresson never thought she’d return to the de Vincents’ bayou compound. It’s where her parents work, where Nikki grew up... and where she got her heart broken by Gabriel de Vincent himself. Yet here she is, filling in for her sick mother. Avoiding Gabe should be easy, especially when so much of Nikki’s time is spent trying not to be stabbed in the back by the malicious hangers-on who frequent the mansion. But escaping memories of Gabe, much less his smoking-hot presence, is harder than expected—especially since he seems determined to be in Nikki’s space as much as possible.

Gabriel spent years beating himself up over his last encounter with Nikki. He’d wanted her then, but for reasons that were bad for both of them. Things have now changed. Gabe sees more than a girl he’s known forever; he sees a smart, talented, and heartbreakingly beautiful woman... one who’s being stalked from the shadows. Now, Gabe will do anything to keep Nikki safe—and to stop the de Vincent curse from striking again.

Oh this book. Be still my romantic loving heart haha.

I loved this one. Which shock shock... It is a JLA book and I don't think I've ever not liked one of those haha.

But really. I loved this book and the characters.

I truly adored Gabe back in Moonlight Sins, and couldn't wait to get his story. And more of the hunky mysterious de Vincent's in general. They're just such an interesting group.
And I love seeing the dynamic Jen has going for the 3 brothers. They're relationships with one another is just so interesting to me. There's so many secrets and lies, and keeping of things close to the vest on each of their parts. But the more we get a peek into all their lives, the more I just can't help but like them. Even the cold and brooding Devlin haha (I'm so ready for that mans story after this one. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed on who his love interest may be. Although I have my guess after this one haha)
They dynamic evolves and changes with them. And the mystery behind their family just gets stranger and more complicated. And makes someone like myself, who likes to guess and analyze plots and what's about to happen so giddy. I can't help but love to keep guessing and using my super awesome bookish spidy powers to discover things. And I never get border with the plausibility of paranormal activity with this family. It's such a fun what if.

Plus the addition of Nikki back in the middle of things made it so much more interesting. I liked her and her spunk, and everything it brought to the dynamic between everyone. Not just Gabe. Her interactions with Devlin helped shine a lot of light on his character. Since we really only got smaller glimpses of him back in Moonlight Sins. And helped show just how kind and caring, yet scary Gabe could be as well. Yes we knew he was the nicest of the 3 brothers from back during Moonlight Sins. But as Nikki comes back into the picture, she gives us a way to really see just how that compassion really can play out. And how big of a heart the man has.
Plus she is just a well written and dimensional character. She's cute and funny. And I love the group of friends she brings into the story. They crack me up.

Plus Nikki just reminded me a lot of myself.
A couple year sago my mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor. And it brought my life to a screeching halt as I abandoned school and so many other things in my life to be there for her and help her out.And honestly I still find myself in a holding pattern from it this day. She's gotten better after numerous surgeries and PT and whatnot. But I could relate so much to Nikki and her need to help her family out. To be there for them, and even take a job she didn't really like or was in her skill set from school just to help keep her family going. And having that to relate to make me adore Nikki that much more. To see a little of myself in this already relatable character. And that's one of the biggest things I love in a book. I want something real.Something that makes me be able to picture these characters as real life people. And while the romance part may be a bit on the fantastical side of things sometimes. I like that it stories like this can be so relatable and give me hope that I can find my mysterious and handsome millionaire to fall in love with haha.

But just as a whole, this book just did such a good job and dragging me in. I could feel the internal struggle going on in Gabe, and was on the edge of my seat as the twists and turns kept coming. Jen did an amazing job writing this book so you never knew what to expect. And I enjoyed the fact that I never wanted to put it down
And that ending! Oh man! haha
Jen pulls us right back in and keeps us guessing. I loved everything about it so much.

I give

Book Spotlight: Pretending He's Mine (Love On Cue) By: Mia Sosa

Hey y'all! I just wanted to stop by today and say a quick hello
👋👋
And drop a bookish suggestion for any of you looking for your next read.
PRETENDING HE"S MINE by Mia Sosa just came out in April, and should definitely be on your radar 😉😉

For Hollywood agent Julian Hart, representing his best friend—megastar Carter Williamson—means it’s nearly impossible to keep his personal life and career separate. To make matters worse, Carter’s younger sister has been starring in Julian’s wildest fantasies more often than he’d care to admit. He knows she’s off-limits, but when Ashley shows up on his doorstep, needing a place to crash… suddenly his greatest temptation is sleeping down the hall.

Free-spirited Ashley Williamson doesn’t do commitment. Jobs, apartments, men… why let herself be tied down? But she’s had a crush on her older brother’s best friend for years and she’s committed to making Julian want her, one towel-clad midnight encounter at a time. But just as things start heating up, their steamy flirtation is interrupted by Carter’s east coast wedding. Ashley has no desire to go home and face her reputation as the family disappointment. But living with—dare she say dating?—a successful, sexy film agent could give them something else to talk about.

Julian can’t believe he agreed to fake a relationship with the one woman he can never have. And it’s going to take more than a little willpower to remember it's all pretend. Or is it?

Mia Sosa was born and raised in New York City. She attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications and met her own romance hero (spoiler alert: she married him). Mia once dreamed of being a professional singer, but practical considerations (read: the need to generate income) led her to take the law school admissions test instead.

A graduate of Yale Law School, Mia practiced First Amendment and media law in the nation’s capital for ten years before returning to her creative roots. Now she spends most of her days writing contemporary romances about imperfect characters finding their perfect match. Mia lives in Maryland with her husband and two daughters and will forever be on the hunt for the perfect karaoke bar.

Twisted Jigsaw Puzzle Fun

Hey ya'll 👋👋👋

So I'm sure you all have gotten to know me pretty well by now. But just in case you don't... Not only am I a blogger. But I also work as a PA to a fairly small author named Emily Rose.
We met almost 4 years ago, through my blog none the less. And have become some of the best of friends over the year.

She recently has decided to overhaul her books (They were in need of some fierce editing and cover changes) But here in the next month or two her newest (and best book in my opinion) will be releasing. TWISTED is by far my favorite one she's written to date. And I'm so happy that Miles is finally going to be out in the word soon for everyone to meet and read about.

So until he's finally here, I figured why not have some fun.

So here's a cute little jigsaw puzzle to help you pass the time.

See if you can beat my time.

Anyone who comments below with their times will be entered into a fun little giveaway for some awesome TWISTED swag once it arrives ;)

For Miles Conrad, moving to Hampton, Georgia was a way to escape the darkness of his past.
Working as a bartender, he has family and the simple life he never had before.
But sometimes, the past doesn't want to stay where it belongs, especially when it comes to Reanna “Ray” Adams. She’s the girl he could never have. The girl he could only dream of having, yet the same girl who could get under his skin like nothing else.
And it seems that no matter how far he can run from everything that is Ray, it’ll never be far enough.
But things aren’t the same.
He has changed.
In a lot of ways.
But….

Blog Tour: The Other Brother By: Meghan Quinn

Hey ya'll!! I am so excited to be a part of the THE OTHER BROTHER blog tour today.

I want to send a huge thank you to Meghan and the amazing team over at Wordsmith Publicity for getting this pretty sent out for review. Ya'll are amazing 😘😘

I absolutely freaking loved this book! It was so cute and sweet. And had such a good balance of things, plus amazing characters too.

And ya'll! I got the opportunity to meet Meghan a few weeks ago at Shameless17
And she was so sweet and kind. I had an absolute blast getting to talk with her 😍😍😍

I got the call. The dreaded call every child fears. My dad wasn’t well, and the man who had always been my everything needed me.

There was only one thing to do; pack up and head back to my hometown. I had finally made my dream life in the city with the great job and loving boyfriend. But was there really a choice not to go?

I found a wonderful job, a quaint house to rent, my boyfriend was working on joining me in Binghamton, and my favorite pizza place was only miles away. Life was good.

Until I met my neighbor.

It's been three years since I'd seen Aaron Walters, and my God is he all kinds of sexy gorgeous. Figures. He was supposed to be my forever, the man I grew old with, but he had different plans. How can a man who ripped my heart apart still trip me up? How can he make me still want him now more than ever?

I’m tempted, I’m drawn toward him, I’m completely and utterly unaware that I’m dating his biological brother.

Now two men own my heart. The question is, which brother will I choose?

Why? Why does he have to magically appear in my life? Moving back to Binghamton, I thought about the possibility of maybe running into him, but I thought it unlikely, something that would never really happen.
Boy, was I wrong.
What a sick joke life is playing on me.
Aaron Walters, the boy who broke me into pieces is my neighbor.
I can’t fathom the impact I feel already.
Seeing him in hip-hugging jeans and a tight, plain shirt did a number on me. It kept me up all night as memories of what we used to have flooded my mind.
His voice.
His stature.
The way he used to kiss my neck.
The way I felt so protected in his arms.
Too bad his arms couldn’t protect me from his devastating, heart-breaking self.
And hell, he looked good. Too good.
He’s always been tall with handsome features and a chiseled jaw, but now he’s bulked up to the point that I could see his abs flexing under his shirt, the same shirt that stretched over his biceps.
But it wasn’t his muscles or handsome features that once again made my heart ache, it was those eyes. So bright, so blue, so kind, but still so sad. It reminded me of the first day I met him, of the day he stole my heart from every other man on the market.
Broken, unsure, yet yearning for love. It was all there, and like experiencing a moment of déjà vu, I was transported back into a time when I felt invisible, like I could conquer anything with him at my side.
Once again, I was wrong.

OMG this book! I can't even tell you just how much I loved it.

Aaron absolutely stole my heart! I mean he seriously gutted me! (In a good way haha) (goodbye cruel world haha)

He's just such an amazing character. And so kind and sweet and gahh!!
But he's so broken too. And my heart just seriously ached for him as the book went.

Meghan just has the most amazing way of writing such emotional and yet cheeky and funny books, and I absolutely love them. She's one of my favorite authors, and when I was contacted about reviewing this one. I just couldn't pass it up.

And I'm so happy I didn't. Because this one wasn't just Aaron that made the book so great either. Amelia was a fun character too. She's so bright. And so strong. And I respected that this wasn't just some love triangle where the character can't make up their mind and plays both guys back and forth.

And Amanda, Amelia's best friend. I loved that girl! She was such a fun supporting character. Plus all the glimpses of our favorite Twisted Twosome and My Best Friends Ex people made me all sorts of squee worthy happy

I like that you could see the struggle between following your heart even at the risk of breaking it again. And the struggle of taking the safe way out. Both take so much guts, and I adored how Amelia handled it. And how Aaron actually gave her space and let her make whatever decision she would potentially make.

This book just has such a good mix of emotion and humor. And it made for such a fun balanced read that I just didn't want to put down. Seriously, there was a couple nights there it was getting close to 4 AM and I was STRUGGLING to keep my eyes even open to keep reading haha.

I loved that I got a little of everything in this book though. It was written so well. And I would suggest it to anyone.

It cracks me up, because I saw Meghan post something the other day about possibly writing her books to be submitted to hallmark to be turned into a screenplay. And I totally could have seen Twisted Twosome or My Best Friends Ex being one. And I'm so freaking sold after this book now too. (I mean it's possible that for the past week I've been binge watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and that's why I think it haha.) But I am so for sure that I would love to see these boys shenanigans in a movie on there. They fit that channel so well, and it cracks me up picturing it (Come on. You totally know you are too. Those boys pigging out on Little Debbie's.) Yup! You just busted out laughing too. I know it haha
😜😜😜

I without a shadow of a doubt give THE OTHER BROTHER
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5 STARS⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

Game On (Hometown Player #6) By: Victoria Denault

First off, I need to send a huge shot out to Forever Romance for sending out the ARC to this one. y'all rock, and I can't thank you enough.

When it comes to scoring in the pro hockey league, Alex Larue is crushing it-with the hot puck bunnies. He's the life of the party, the guy with all the jokes . . . and the one whose Party Guy mask keeps the real him well hidden. The last thing he needs is anyone finding out about his troubled past, or the nightmares that haunt him still.

Brie Bennett is less than impressed by Alex from the moment she meets him. And even though he insists on volunteering at the charity she runs, she doesn't trust him. He's hiding something...but so is she. She's not just the rich, privileged New York princess he thinks she is. The animosity between them is undeniably addictive and as their worlds keep colliding it becomes supercharged with something else - attraction. But if they stop playing games and let each other in, they both might lose.

So let's get into this review shall we?

I have to admit that this is the first book from Victoria's Hometown Players series I've read (yes I know. Bad bad me. But let me tell you. I want them all now. I fell in love with these guys and I want to see all the stories I've been missing out on)

But this book had almost everything I look for in a good sports romance. (I could have maybe used a bit more actual hockey in it. But Victoria did good incorporating at least some of the sport. So we weren't left with one of those "sports romances" that's just about an athlete with none of the actual sports going on. If that makes sense haha)

But any who. We got the sports, the brooding hockey player, some sexy time, and a whole bunch of other stuff I won't say here so I don't spoil anything for ya'll. And it just all worked so well together to create a great story.

I loved seeing the journey that Brie and Alex went on during this book. Both characters met in the funniest way. And then the build up between them was super interesting and even a bit touching at times. They both had such sad pasts, and to see how it shaped them and made them who they are was quite beautiful and heartbreaking to read.

Here we have Alex. This big tough hockey player, who's always starting crap with other teams during games. And when you see him off the ice he's a completely different person. Much more reserved and funny. Definitely a playboy of sorts. But he also has the kindest heart. And you can't help but feel a little sad for him at how he came to be like that. But also amazed by how much he's overcome and turned his life I to something so successful and awesome.

And then there's Brie. You can't help but not like her. She's feisty and strong willed. And seriously has a heart of gold and a passion not many people have in their lives. She doesn't take anything life has given her for granted. And takes no crap. Including that dished out from a certain broody hockey hunk.
She was down to earth and funny. And not afraid to put someone in their place when they needed it (cough cough Alex hehe)

Plus Victoria just touches on a subject that I think we need to see more of out there. And she writes it in a way that makes you not just feel sorry about it. But want to get out and go help. To make a difference much the same way the characters are.
Honestly she touches on a couple different things. And I'm glad she did. We need more authors who aren't afraid to get into the stuff society sees as things we need to be hush hush about and pretends like it doesn't happen.

I really truly enjoyed this book. And hope ya'll pick up a copy when it releases.

I give GAME ON

Temporary By: Sarina Bowen & Sarah Mayberry

I need to send a huge thanks to Nina Bocci for sending the arc of this pretty out for review. you are a book goddess!!

The most beautiful man I've ever seen is the one who can ruin everything...

The first time I lay eyes on Callan Walker, I know he’ll be trouble. With his smug grin, hot Aussie accent and thousand dollar shoes, he’s just the kind of rich guy who always gets what he wants.

And he wants two things: a night of sin, and my cooperation as he outmaneuvers his powerful mother to take control of his uncle’s estate.

I can’t afford either one. I’m the only thing standing between my little sister and the foster care system. He may have money and charm on his side, but I have something even more powerful -- pure desperation. This temp job at his mother’s company can become a full time job for me. It has to.

But when Callan’s eyes rake over my body, sometimes I forget my obligations. His piercing gaze finds the fun, optimistic girl I used to be and not the tired person I’ve become.

And it works--if only for a moment. Our night together was a mistake. I can't afford to get sucked into his high-powered family’s treachery. But the closer I get to Callan, the more layers I find beneath those expensive clothes. Though I can’t forget this is temporary. He’s temporary. I have too much to lose.

Too bad my foolish heart didn’t get the memo...

This book was so totally unexpected. And I mean that in such a good way too.

Sarina is one of those authors I pretty much love any book she writes, so I was game to see what her and Sarah came up with (even if this was my first experience with one of Sarah's books)

But immediately this story drew me in. I wasn't even planning on starting it yet. I have other Arc's that needed to be read much sooner. But in a stroke of boredom the other day I just happened to flip through the first couple pages.... and BOOM I was hooked haha.

And it's because of a few different reasons.
The story itself was so well written and such a great story line (even if a few parts were your typical romance book cliches)
If I didn't know it was so written before starting it. I never would have guessed two authors wrote this one either. The story was so cohesive and flows so well. And there was never a part where I questioned after who's writing was what. Because it all just blended so beautifully.

And it was also the characters these two came up with. Callan was dreamy steamy. and for a playboy .... He was also such an adorable sweetheart, one of those characters that has so many sides. And so much depth to him. Plus he's sexy Australian accent made for a fun read too. (Even if I made the mistake of watching master chef while I read, and had Gordon Ramsey's voice playing in my head for a bit haha)

I also loved Grace though.
And I know I'm one who never typically likes female leads and all that. But Grace was just a good character. She had just enough sass and gumption. But yet was still cautious and relatable. and I found myself cheering for her, or even moping with her.
She's one of those characters you easily jump into their shoes. And really get a good view of the story from their POV.

And I can't forget Olivia. That girl made me laugh. She's such a cute funny little character. And offered just that little extra oomph this book needed.

As I said. I really enjoyed this book. and found it fun and extremely sweet and cute, but also just has just that right touch of steamy.
I'm so glad I accidentally started it early because I truly loved this this book.

I give TEMPORARY

Twisted By Emily Rose Trailer Reveal

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to get to share the trailer reveal for Emily Rose's upcoming book TWISTED!
I think ya'll will just love this book. And I don't just say that because I'm her PA haha 😋😋

But I have been head over heels for Miles since Emily started writing him way back when, and finally seeing his story about to release makes me all sorts of happy.

Twisted doesn't have a set release date yet. But is tentatively set to arrive here before the end of the year. So be on the look out for more news, as dates get set and what not.
And I hope you enjoy the trailer!

For Miles Conrad, moving to Hampton, Georgia was a way to escape the darkness of his past.

I'll be honest, I'm not that interesting of a person. I live a crazy life in a small town, my boyfriend is a police officer, and I call my best friend/PA a Mini Sam Winchester, because she reminds me of him. I love writing, go figure, and I'm here for the fictional men, because who doesn't love those guys? Right!!?? Anyway, that about sums it up.

Oh, I guess I'm supposed to tell you all to follow me and buy my books, so there. I said it.
