Release Day Blitz/Excerpt: Well Hung By: Lauren Blakely

well-hung-available-everywhere

✮✮✮WELL HUNG is now available! ✮✮✮

A hot and hilarious standalone romantic comedy, WELL HUNG is about an easy going, and well hung gentleman who’s been burned by love in the past but finds himself falling fast and hard for the one person he cannot have. It takes everything you love about a Lauren Blakely novel –witty dialogue, smoking hot sex scenes, and heartfelt moments –and puts them into one fantastic book! Told in the guy's POV, WELL HUNG is the sexy, irreverent tale of what happens when a carpenter who's good with all his tools accidentally marries his gorgeous and fiery assistant one night in Vegas. The trouble is...what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas in this twist on an office romance.

"Well Hung should come with the label 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' because there isn't one single sentence I didn't absolutely love of this story! This book has laugh-out-loud humor as well as a romance that's both heartwarmingly sweet and deliciously dirty."

ABOUT WELL HUNG:

✮✮✮ WELL HUNG is here!✮✮✮

From the NYT Bestselling author of MISTER O, comes a hot and hilarious new standalone...

Here's what you need to know about me -- I'm well-off, well-hung and quick with a joke. Women like a guy who makes them laugh--and I don't mean at the size of his d*ck. No, they want their funny with a side of huge... not to mention loyal. I've got all that plus a big bank account, thanks to my booming construction business. Yup. I know how to use all my tools.

Enter Natalie. Hot, sexy, smart, and my new assistant. Which makes her totally off limits...

Hey, I'm a good guy. Really. I do my best to stay far away from the kind of temptation she brings to work. Until one night in Vegas...

Yeah, you've heard this one before. Bad news on the business front, drowning our sorrows in a few too many Harvey Wallbangers, and then I'm banging her. In my hotel room. In her hotel room. Behind the Titanic slot machine at the Flamingo (don't ask). And before I can make her say "Oh God right there YES!" one more time, we're both saying yes--the big yes--at a roadside chapel in front of a guy in press-on sideburns and a shiny gold leisure suit.

But it turns out what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas. And now, my dick doesn't stay in my pants when she's around. I try to resist. Honest. But the more we try to keep our hands to ourselves, the more we end up naked again, and the more time I want to spend with her fully clothed, too. The question now is...do I take this woman to be my ex-wife?

Excerpt

Let’s back up.
How did we get from not kissing to kissing? What was that turning point? Did she lean into me? Did I move closer to her? Details matter. I’ll gladly share them.
Start with six months of sexual tension. Add in two mojitos for her, two beers for me, and a couple vodka tonics. Stir that with some bad news on the business front, and top it with the cherry of Natalie’s hit-me-over-the-head-with-a-stick comment that left no question as to what she wanted…and here I am.
We don’t lean into each other. There’s no inch-by-slow-sensual-inch pull. It’s not a slow burn.
It’s a fiery crash. We’re two cars speeding on the highway of this night, and we slam into each other, crawl across the hoods, and kiss like crazy.
Nothing is tentative about this. We go from not kissing to kissing in less than sixty nanoseconds. Yeah, I don’t really know what a nanosecond is, either. But it happens in no time.
And now my hand is in her hair, yanking her close as we crush our lips together. We kiss hard and rough, fueled by pent-up desire and more than enough vodka and rum to make this inevitable.
Her teeth scrape me, and I growl, loving her roughness. I suck hard on her bottom lip, and I’m rewarded by nearly the same sound from her. She’s like a tiger, and together we’re animals.
I grip her head tighter, and her hands are all over me—in my hair, then down my chest, then along my arms. We kiss so deeply, it’s like we’re trying to climb each other.
At some point, she breaks off, breathes out hard, then whispers in my ear, “I’ve wanted to do that for so long.”
“Not as long as I have. Now get those lips back on mine,” I tell her, and she complies.
My hands cup her cheeks, but I’m not gentle, and she doesn’t want me that way. She’s not a gentle girl. She’s badass and tough, and she wants what I want. I hold her face tightly in my hands, and she practically crawls into my lap in a rush to get closer, then closer still as she presses her tits against my chest.
I’m seated on a stool at the bar, and we are putting on some kind of show. But I don’t care.
My tongue searches and hunts, wanting to taste every corner of her mouth, savoring the vodka and the tonic and, most of all, the Natalie. She whimpers and moans, and I swallow every sexy sound she makes.
This stool is ours. This bar is ours. The night belongs to this kiss, because it’s not a starter kiss. It contains all the clues necessary to assemble the puzzle of where this night will end.
With unwavering certainty, I know what kind of kiss this is.
As I explore her mouth, and she claims mine with equal urgency, I know that I will be fucking Natalie tonight.

  ABOUT SINFUL LOVE:
Intense. Devoted. Protective. Michael Sloan is all of the above, with a hard tough edge to boot. He's not the guy he used to be. Years ago, before all the s&%t went down, he was laidback, carefree, and even happy-go-lucky. Life changed him. Hardened him. There's one woman though who can break down his walls. Someone who knew him then. Who can reach inside to that heart he protects fiercely...because she's the only one he ever gave it to. When they collide, it's tender and savage, gentle and rough, and makes them both hungry for more of this electric, once-in-a-blue moon kind of sexual chemistry. But it's a battle of wills between Michael and the woman he loves, with words and emotions held close to the vest. She doesn't believe she can ever move on from her own heartache, but when Michael makes her feel for the first time in years, it's both thrilling and scares the hell out of her, setting off all her flight instincts. He's determined not to lose her again, but he'll have to learn to let her in if he ever wants to fully heal from the past... The problem is, she knows something about the night his family shattered. She has the missing puzzle piece...but neither one of them realizes it. YET. SINFUL LOVE is the fourth and final book in the steamy, sexy, suspenseful New York Times Bestselling Sinful Nights series from Lauren Blakely, author of the wildly popular Seductive Nights series...

 EXCERPT:

Chapter One The letter smelled like her. Like rain. He ran his thumb over the corner of the paper, and closed his eyes briefly. Memories rose to the surface, feeling like hope and possibility. Far too risky things when it came to her. Michael shut them down, opened his eyes, and stared out the floor-to-ceiling windows of his penthouse on the Strip, trying to focus on the here and now, not the enticing lure of what if. Soon, the lights of Vegas would blink like a carnival unfolding below him, from the miniature Eiffel Tower, to the pyramid, to the blazing signs adorning The Cosmopolitan. Neon, glitz, and billboards ten stories high whispered of the best nights ever. He had to stay fixed on the minute details of the present, not be seduced by the past, and how good it was. Or of how much he’d longed for a future with her. But he wasn’t having the easiest time of that. From his vantage point, twenty stories above the concrete ribbon that beckoned millions of tourists, he brought the letter to his nose for one final inhale. The scent of falling rain. Try as he might, he gave in. A reel of sensory images rushed back to him in an instant from years ago, like the snap, snap, snap of old film. How many times had he kissed Annalise in the rain? Brushed her wild red hair off her cheeks, touched her soft skin? Listened to her laugh? Countless. Just like the times he’d lingered on her over the years, even after that day in Marseilles ten years ago that had damn near slaughtered all his hope left in the world. Carefully, he folded up the letter, slid it back into the tiny envelope postmarked from France, and stuffed it into his wallet, next to a crinkled, faded, threadbare note from his father that he’d carried with him through all the years. Her letter had arrived two weeks ago, and he’d read it a thousand times already. He could read it a thousand more times, but it wouldn’t change his answer. The same one he’d emailed back to her. Yes. It was always yes with her.

It's not just the motion of the ocean, ladies. It's definitely the SIZE of the boat too. And I've got both firing on all cylinders. In fact, I have ALL the right assets. Looks, brains, my own money, and a big cock. You might think I'm an asshole. I sound like one, don’t I? I'm hot as sin, rich as heaven, smart as hell and hung like a horse. Guess what? You haven't heard my story before. Sure, I might be a playboy, like the NY gossip rags call me. But I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind. The only trouble is, my dad needs me to cool it for a bit. With conservative investors in town wanting to buy his flagship Fifth Avenue jewelry store, he needs me not only to zip it up, but to look the part of the committed guy. Fine. I can do this for Dad. After all, I’ve got him to thank for the family jewels. So I ask my best friend and business partner to be my fiancée for the next week. Charlotte’s up for it. She has her own reasons for saying yes to wearing this big rock. And pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom, because she just can’t fake the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering orgasmic cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets. But I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her. What the fuck have I gotten myself into with this…big rock?
BIG ROCK is a standalone, dirty romance novel written from the guy’s POV by NYT Bestselling author Lauren Blakely…

This hysterical and addictive standalone can be bought everywhere!! Go forth and laugh, swoon and fan yourself into the New Year with this dirty, sexy romantic comedy told from the male POV!

Oh my where to start with this amazing book??
I seriously could not have been more excited when the ARC of this book popped up on my Kindle. I love Lauren Blakely's books and this one drew me in from the synopsis alone.

So I guess what I really need to start with here is a huge thank you to Lauren and the InkSlinger team for sending out the ARC to this amazing book for my review. Ya'll work so hard for us bloggers, and I cannot thank you enough for everything :D

So on to the actual review.

As I stated just a bit ago, I loved this book.
But I can admit I am a total sucker for books written from cocky funny male perspectives (See any of my Emma Chase reviews haha)

Lauren had a way of making me fall head over heels for Spencer. He is a hilarious character that left me swooning like a 16 year old. (Seriously I was up all night reading this one when the ARC hit my Kindle and attempting not to laugh and gush too loudly as to not wake up the 6 other people in my house. I almost failed haha)
But it's not just his witty humor that did me in. Spencer is the whole package when it comes to book boyfriends. He's sexy and full of himself just enough to not be pushing the egotistical dick notion. He's confident, and sis I mention funny already hehe. I mean seriously. The things that passed through this guys head had me laughing more than once.
But also something else that I think I should really point out is how dedicated he is to the people he cares about (E.G. his family and Charlotte)
I mean this whole book is based on something Spencer makes up (Well doesn't correct) just to help his dad out. Plus he always has Charlotte's back, either with her weirdo ex or rando men that approach her in the bar Spencer and her own together.
He also tries really hard to respect Charlotte's boundaries, even though you can tell he obviously is seeing his bestie/business partner in a whole new light.

The man was raised right (Despite his man whore-ish ways) and while he is sinful as the devil himself, he has respect for women. Even the quick one night stands he boasts so much about he never leads on or tries to pretend they are something they aren't.

He is a pretty dynamic character and I found him so incredibly adorable, especially at a few times in the book when we got to see a more vulnerable side to him. Which ok I will admit I'm all about the sarcastic alpha male hot heads, but I love the secret vulnerable oh I have feelings side too (Well a little, ok ok, so maybe only in particular men in books haha. I am not an emotional person so the only time you can get me to aww something is pretty much by putting it into a book. Other than that I am a heartless witch and will stomp all over your fragile emotions. Just saying haha) Apparently I am a softy for vulnerable book boyfriends though, go figure.

Well moving on from the Spectacular Spencer (I am totally calling him that from now on! I call dibs on that fantastic magician name for him ha!) (Wow I'm weird, and maybe a tad dorky. I can admit to it though hehe)

So seriously, I want to talk about Charlotte now.
Let me get past my female character hate for a moment and just say that I DIDN'T hate her. In fact I really LOVED her. (Gasp! yes I know. I just admitted to liking a female character. World must be ending and all that haha)

But for-realsies I adored her too. She is just a fun character and I loved her spunk and ability to dish everything Spencer sent her way right back.
When we're introduced to her she seems so quite and even maybe a tad shy and then BAM!! She is this whole other awesome person. I mean seriously she went from that shy little thing to this woman who can give Spencer a run for his money in the sexy department.
Plus the way she holds her own against the slightly sexist man buying Spencer's dad's jewelry company (The whole reason she and Spencer are in this mess) I give her serious props.
But something I also like about her is that much like Spencer she is loyal to a fault. I mean how many women do you know would just go well ok lets get engaged since you decided to tell this big fib of omission to help your dad sell his company. Yeah I'm going to go with a not many on that.
Plus I just love a female character I can relate to in some way. She's strong and a little vulnerable and just a wholesome character when it comes down to things.

yeah I don't really have much more to say about her other than I really liked her, so I'm just going to quit before I start repeating myself a bunch of times (Because we all know I do it enough in every other review)

I also want to take a quick minute to expand on what I kind of mentioned earlier about Lauren's writing style in this book. I have a tendencies to be pulled towards books like this with fun male dialog. And all it took was me getting through the epilogue to be irrevocably hooked. I fell so hard for Spencer's inner dialog. That's where we get the bulk of his funny sense of humor. And where we really get to see how he truly feels about his family and Charlotte, and the situation they are all in. He is the most honest with himself, even though we see him having to try to talk himself out of decisions sometimes.

All in all, as I'm sure it is obvious by now... I loved this book. I mean seriously everything about this book was great.
I really wish it weren't a standalone, because I could so get on board with more Spencer any time hehe.

I definitely give BIG ROCK:

Big Rock - Size Matter Teaser

Add it to Goodreads here!

Excerpt:

Prologue
Sure, some people will tell you that size does not matter. You know what I’ll tell you? They lie.
You don’t want a tiny diamond on your finger when you can have three carats. You don’t want a one-dollar bill when you can have a Benjamin. And you don’t want to ride a miniature pony when you can saddle up on a rock-star cock at the rodeo of your pleasure.
Why? Because bigger is better. It’s more fun. Ask any woman who’s had to utter the dreaded words, “Is it in yet?”
No woman has ever had to ask me that.
You’re probably wondering by now—just how big is it? C’mon. A gentleman doesn’t tell. I may fuck like a god, but I’m still a gentleman. I’ll open your door before I open your legs. I’ll hold your coat for you, I’ll pay for dinner, and I’ll treat you like a queen in and out of bed.
But I get it. You want an image in your mind. A measurement in inches to make your mouth water. Fine. Imagine this. Picture your fantasy-sized cock; mine’s fucking bigger.
Moving on to looks. Let’s be honest. Some dicks are just motherfucking ugly. I won’t get into all the reasons why. You know what they are, and for now, when it comes to my best asset, all I want you thinking about are these words: long, thick, smooth, hard. If the Renaissance masters were carving sculptures of cocks, mine would be the model for all of them.
But honestly, none of this would matter if my dick didn’t possess the most important attribute of all.
            Performance.
Ultimately, a man’s dick should be measured by the number of orgasms it delivers. I’m not talking about the solo flights. That’s cheating. I’m talking about the Os that can make a woman’s back arch, her toes curl, her windows shatter, her world rock.
How much pleasure has my dick wrought? I don’t kiss and tell, but I’ll leave you with this. My dick has a perfect track record.

That’s why it fucking sucks that he has to go on hiatus.
